I am a PhD candidate in social psychology at Stanford University, working with Carol Dweck. My research focuses on identifying and understanding barriers to successful and meaningful goal achievement. My dissertation project examines how a need for preparedness may prevent people, especially women, from embarking on important professional goals.
Born in Australia and raised in South Korea, I received a B.A. in psychology with magna cum laude and economics from Cornell University in 2011. Outside of doing research, I'm also a trained peer counselor, a caregiver at a hospital, and a budding scuba diver. |
